Oregon Football announced the addition of Bobby Williams and Colt Dennison to the Coaching Staff on Friday.

It can be said that work is easier when it is with friends. Oregon Head Coach Mario Cristobal had added two Assistant Coaches that fall under this category. Bobby Williams will be Special Teams Coordinator and worked with Cristobal at Alabama. Cort Dennison worked with Keith Heyward at Louisville and both will be reunited in Eugene.

Bobby Williams will work primarily with Special Teams and will also be a trusted voice for Head Coach Mario Cristobal. Williams was a key to the Crimson Tide’s latest Championship runs, most notably in 2015 where an onside kick changed the complexion of the game. He played the role of Special Assistant to Head Coach Nick Saban. He is leaving Alabama after spending the last decade with the Crimson Tide.

Williams also has NFL Experience. He spent several years with the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions. He also spent ten seasons with Saban at Michigan State.

Cort Dennison comes to Eugene after the last two seasons with Louisville. The Cardinal had the 22nd Best Interception rate in the Nation last season Dennison is also a top recruiter which is a growing theme with Oregon Football under Mario Cristobal.

The addition of both coaches continues the mantra that Mario Cristobal set forth in his introductory Press Conference as Head Coach. His Coaching Staff will also be Key Recruiters. With National Signing Day right around the corner, Dennison has a chance to make a final impression in his first week on the job.
