Former Oregon Duck Kenjon Barner has speed on display as a Return Man this season for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Former Oregon Running Back Kenjon Barner knows there is no ‘I’ in ‘team’. In his four seasons,, all with Philadelphia he has seen and learned a lot about his role for the Philadelphia Eagles. There was a stint with the Los Angeles Rams, but he never saw the field for the team resigning with Philadelphia before this season.

Barner has found more success as a return man in the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers and saw limited time mainly on Special Teams in his Rookie season in 2013. His time in Philadelphia the last three seasons has been for the most part consistent.

Kenjon Barner signed with the Philadelphia Eagles -for the second time – following the Eagles losing Aging Running Back Darren Sproles for the remainder of the season in Week 5. He came in as the number to Running Back under Doug Pederson until the team went and grabbed Jay Ajayi from Miami moving Barner back to the key player for kick return duties.

He has played in 13 games this season and has been used in the Return game. Barner has 240 yards Returning kicks this season with a long return of 76 yards. While he has not scored on Special Teams, it could very well come down to that type of play in Super Bowl 52 against the New England Patriots on Sunday. There have been several health-related problems this week with both teams with players being ill, including the former Duck.
