The Oregon Ducks added key players to help the Offense on National Signing Day.

Oregon Football added key pieces of the 2018 Recruiting Class during the early signing period led by Quarterback Tyler Shough. One area of need was filled on National Signing Day with the signing of Tight End Spencer Webb. The Ducks also added Offensive Lineman Justin Johnson and Wide Receivers Jalen Hall and Isaah Crocker who signed early on National Signing Day.

Tight End was a key area of need since last season, but Oregon was able to make it work with Jacob Breeland who managed to stay healthy for the entire year and also gain some valuable experience on the field entering his Sophomore Season.

With the addition of Spencer Webb, Oregon will have an additional option on Offense and a big target for Quarterback Justin Herbert. I expect that Webb will see playing time in the upcoming season of Oregon Football.

The addition of Justin Johnson will further bolster an already experienced Offensive Line under Head Coach Mario Cristobal. Despite losing Charles Nelson to graduation, Oregon had added two tall Wide Receivers in Jalen Hall and Isaah Crocker who are both over 6 feet. Webb is 6 foot 5 and besides being a top Tight End, has also played Defense in High School.

Oregon Football added four key Offensive Pieces for the Class of 2018 with several more signees possible before the end of the day. The Ducks signed 15 during the early signing period including Running Back Travis Dye, brother of Defensive Player Troy Dye.

The Ducks missed on Wide Receiver Devon Williams who committed to play for the USC Trojans on Wednesday.
