Kenny Wooten led the Oregon Ducks Defensive Effort in a 65-40 in over the Washington Huskies.
The Oregon Ducks started the game with Offensive momentum. Troy Brown hit a three, and followed with an assist for a second three by Elijah Brown. The Ducks started the game 3 for 3 from beyond the arc, but hit just 33 percent from the free throw line in the first ten minutes of the game. The Ducks had a 16-15 lead at the 10 minute mark.
Oregon found a scoring drought, going 2 for 9 entering the second half of the first period. Head Coach Dana Altman had to shuffle his lineup to keep players out of foul trouble. Troy Brown gave the Ducks the lead at 22-19 with just over six minutes left in the first half with a two-pointer followed by a slam dunk forcing a Washington timeout and the Ducks taking the momentum.
Troy Brown took over and helped Oregon to a 10-0 run with Brown scoring 8 points. Washington hit a scoring drought of their own going 0 for 5 from the floor in a 5-minute span. Oregon extended their lead to 28-19 with 1:51 left in the first half.
Paul White took his fourth charge of the night giving the ball back to the Oregon Offense. The Ducks took a 28-21 lead into the locker room and led for better than 16 minutes in the first half.
White was 0 for 5 in the first half and hit his first shot to open the second half for the Ducks.
The Oregon Ducks continued to push their lead into the second half. MiKyle McIntosh, who was quiet in the first half had four points in the first five minutes of the second half. Oregon found another run to push their lead to 48-32 with 8:30 remaining. The Ducks had 14 assists led by Payton Pritchard.
In the end, Oregon held Washington to 40 points and 28 percent shooting from the floor. The Ducks extended their lead to 25 points winning 65-40 over the Huskies. Oregon had 42 deflections on the night, a season-high holding the Huskies to 40 points, their lowest scoring total vs the Ducks going back to 1945.
