The Oregon Ducks took care of business against Washington on Friday and now face the second leading scorer in the Pac-12 with Washington State.

Last time out the Washington State Cougars were not at full strength when the faced the Oregon Ducks.

was out with an injury and Oregon won the game at Matthew Knight Arena. Hristova has returned to the lineup and is averaging 17 points per game, just behind Oregon’s Sabrina Ionescu who leads the Pac-12 Conference.

The Ducks fought off a challenge from the Washington Huskies on Friday and watched as Ruthy Hebard took over the game with a career-high 30 points. Oregon has been without 3-point shooter Lexi Bando and it showed against the Huskies. Oregon shot 52 percent from the field but under their average 30 percent from three-point range. Despite missing Bando, Oregon is still putting up 82 points per contest.

Washington State battled Oregon State to Overtime on Friday but lost in the final minutes as the Beavers hit free throws to win the game. I expect that Oregon will also face a challenge from the Cougars just as they did against Washington. With a handful of games left in the Regular Season and first place in the Pac-12 on the line, Oregon knows how to play with a sense of urgency.

Maite Cazorla, even though she was quiet on the scoreboard was the key player vs Washington with 10 Assists.
