The Oregon Ducks can make a move in the Pac-12 Standings with a win over the Arizona Wildcats.

With the FBI Probe ongoing in College Basketball, the game between Oregon and Arizona may not mean much in a few years, but for the Ducks right now, a win over the Arizona Wildcats will keep up a positive push toward the postseason.

Late Friday, a report from ESPN came out that Arizona Head Coach Sean Miller was heard on a Wire Tap discussing payment for the services of a player. Over the last week, several programs have been implicated including Washington and USC in the Pac-12 Conference. Earlier this week it was also announced that Arizona’s Allonzo Trier was ruled ineligible for a failed drug test. He won his appeal last season with a similar finding.

On Saturday it is Senior Day at Matthew Knight Arena. For some reason, the segue talking about the actual game seems to pale in comparison to the news above. Trier was the second leading scorer putting up 19 points per game. The Oregon Ducks showed consistency at times against Arizona State on Thursday night and found enough to win the game in the end. It wasn’t pretty, but it was a win.

On Thursday, Arizona had their hands full with a .500 Oregon State team that took them to Overtime. It is not known if Head Coach Sean Miller will be on the sideline Saturday, but you can bet if he is – his days are likely numbered.

Elijah Brown led the Oregon Ducks in points against Arizona State. MiKyle McIntosh had somewhat of an off game against ASU, but his parents were there to watch. Understandably, he missed a few dunks that could have been easy lay-ups. Brown and McIntosh have been invaluable to Oregon this season, despite their record. It did take some additional time for the team to gel this season, but they have come together just in time.

It has been reported that Miller will not Coach vs Oregon.
