Pac-12 Tournament: Oregon Ducks Beat Utah Utes, Advance To Semifinals
The Oregon Ducks have put the pieces together at the right time, beating the Utah Utes 68-66 and advancing in the Pac-12 Tournament.
The Oregon Ducks again struggled in the first half but came through when it counted in the second half enduring a game-high 10 lead changes and 9 ties to beat the Utah Utes in the Pac-12 Tournament 68-66 on Thursday night. The Ducks continue to improve their postseason outlook with every win and Freshman Kenny Wooten won the game on the same play he did the previous night against Washington State.
Wooten found the right possession on Defense for his second blocked shot in two night to win the game for the Oregon Ducks. The Freshman has been the key shot blocker for the Oregon Ducks all season. He also had 4 points and 8 rebounds. He finished the game with three personal fouls and found foul trouble early but was able to adjust.
Elijah Brown was the key player against the Utah Utes dropping 7 three-pointers and keeping the Ducks in the game. Troy Brown struggled again from the floor hitting just 2 for 8, but his teammates were there to pick him up. The Ducks help Utah without a field goal for the final four minutes of the game and outrebounded the Utes 34 to 25.
For the game, the Ducks shot just 38 percent from the floor. The difference was 19 for 25 free throws made. Paul White was a perfect 6 for 6 from the line. MiKyle McIntosh had key shots inside all night but struggled from the charity stripe hitting 7 for 11 shots.

Oregon is 0-2 vs USC losing by 5 and 2 points respectively during the regular season. The Oregon Ducks continue to the Pac-12 Tournament Semifinals and face the Trojans on Friday night. Tipoff between Oregon and USC is set for 8:30 pm Pacific Time on Fox Sports 1.
