The Oregon Ducks continued poor shooting ended their run in the Pac-12 Tournament against the USC Trojans, 74-54.

For the game, Dana Altman watched his team continue their trend of shooting under 40 percent. Payton Pritchard was just 1 for 11 from the floor against the Trojans. The bright spot again came from the Senior Leaders including MiKyle McIntosh and Elijah Brown.

McIntosh had 21 points scoring 20+ points for the third straight game. He has shown his ability to go inside and get a bucket and to work his way to the basket without forcing an Offensive Foul. For Payton Pritchard, it was an off night. Despite a bad shooting night, he dished out 7 assists. The effects of playing three games in three straight days were apparent on Friday night.

After opening the Pac-12 Tournament with wins over Washington State and Utah, the Oregon Ducks were showed fatigue on Friday night. Outside of the Ducks starters, not one player from the bench had a single point in the loss. Kenny Wooten who was the savior for Oregon in the first two rounds went 0 for 2 from the free throw line. On the Defensive end, he finished with a block and two steals.

The two Pac-12 Tournament wins put the Oregon Ducks at 22victories on the season, but it may not be enough to push them into the NCAA Tournament field. If they do make the NCAA Tournament, it will likely be as a Play-In Game Candidate. I expect Oregon will land in the NIT and host a few games at Matthew Knight Arena beginning next week.
