The Oregon Ducks hosted several hundred fans Monday for the Women’s NCAA Tournament Announcement.

Head Coach Kelly Graves and the Oregon Ducks are set to host the first two rounds of the Women’s NCAA Tournament this weekend with games on Friday and Sunday respectively. The four-team pod in Eugene includes 2 Seed Oregon, 7 Seed Green Bay, 10 Seed Minnesota and 15 Seed Seattle.

The Ducks are playing in the Spokane Regional.

The first game on Friday has Green Bay facing Minnesota before the Oregon Ducks meet 1st time Women’s NCAA Tournament opponent Seattle. The winners meet on Saturday for the chance to go to Spokane next weekend.

The Oregon Ducks 2 Seed is their highest in Program History. It is clear that last season’s Elite 8 Run rubbed off as the team returns to the NCAA Tournament again this season. Sabrina Ionescu is always the player to watch. She is primed for what could be a double double or better performance at any given time.

With the National Spotlight on Eugene throughout the weekend, expect the Oregon Ducks to make some noise at Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon cannot get caught looking ahead to Spokane where they have a potential meeting with Notre Dame. Keep in mind Oregon Transfer Erin Boley is sitting out this season after transferring from the Fighting Irish to play for the Oregon Ducks.
