Former Oregon Ducks put on a show in front of NFL Scouts on Thursday for Pro Day.
Players from this past season including Tyrell Crosby, Royce Freeman, and Arrion Springs were on hand at the Moshofsky Center. They were joined by other Oregon Alum including Dwayne Stanford and Dakota Prukop.
Tyree Robinson opened some eyes with solid performances across the board. The former multi-position High School Athlete ended the day with a 37 1/2 inch vertical jump and a 10 foot 8-inch broad jump. Ty Griffin also finished with a solid performance with a 39-inch vertical jump. Arrion Springs clocked in with the best 40 yard dash time of the afternoon at 4.47 seconds.
Offensively, Kani Benoit showed his power and speed on the Practice Field with a 9-foot broad jump and a 40-yard dash time of 4.52. Benoit was pleased with his effort at the end of the day and even hear a few ‘good job’ comments from Pro Scouts. Several Oregon Alumni also took part in Pro Day.
The one that stood out was Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, who is working his way back after an injury-plagued start to his NFL Career. Ekpre-Olomu ran a 4.52 40-yard dash as he looks to get back with a team in the National Football League. The former Oregon Duck is working his way back on a reconstructed ACL. He was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns before begins signed and waived by the Miami Dolphins in February of last year.
