The Oregon Ducks(14-9, 2-4 Pac12) opened the weekend on a high note taking both games of a doubleheader vs Cal, but there have been positives along the way.

Over the weekend, the Oregon Ducks played a doubleheader, taking two of three games from the California Golden Bears. Oregon found their offense putting up 15 runs in two games. Kyle Kasser and Ray Soderman led the charge in Game One combining for six hits. Matt Mercer took the win in Game 1.

Game Two saw Kasser continue his hot streak along with Jakob Goldfarb. Kenyon Yovan saw his first career start as an Oregon Duck, which was a 7-2 win giving Oregon the Series win over the California Golden Bears. Oregon fell behind in Game 2, but rallied with runs in five different innings to build an eventual 7-1 lead.

With a young team, you take the positives and move forward. Sunday and Monday saw additions to the Loss Column. Oregon dropped the series finale vs Cal and also lost a non-conference game on Monday afternoon to San Francisco 5-1.

Oregon Starter Brett Walker gave up a run in the first inning and the Ducks stranded 10 runners in scoring position vs San Francisco. USF kept Oregon at bay with timely pitches in key spots during the game. Oregon hit .182 for the game and was just 3 for 13 with runners in scoring position.

The Oregon Ducks hit the road for a three-game series at Stanford before returning home to face another single game vs San Francisco and a three-game series against Washington State.
