The Oregon Ducks have caught the eye of the top prospect in the country, Kayvon Thibodeaux who will visit for the Spring Game.

Oregon Football got back to work earlier this week after a week-long hiatus for Spring Break. Head Coach Mario Cristobal has installed some new coaches, but Defensive Coordinator Jim Leavitt has been working quietly with his group through the early part of Spring Football. Last season’s success was certainly the Ducks Defensive Effort which was a noticeable improvement from the previous season.

Oregon was in line for a Top 10 Recruiting Class for 2018, but Head Coach Willie Taggart departed for Florida leaving Oregon in limbo, but the Ducks maintained a Top 20 Class. Next season is already lining up for more success.

With Mario Cristobal finding his own style and focusing on fundamentals and finding power up front, recruits around the country are taking notice.

Earlier this week, Kayvon Thibodeaux, the top prospect in the country and 5-Star Defensive End announced on Twitter his list of upcoming visits and the Oregon Ducks will host him on the weekend of April 21st for the Annual Oregon Football Spring Game.

Oregon has a single commitment early in the 2019 Recruiting Process with Three-Star Cornerback Marques Caldwell. The Ducks have also hosted the 2nd ranked Quarterback for the Class of 2019, Grant Gunnell.

As it stands Thibodeaux is looking at high profile schools around the country and when looking at the Pac-12 is leaning toward the USC Trojans. The Oregon Football Spring Game now has it’s headline visitor and could make a big impression on the Class of 2019 if Thibodeaux gets a good impression.
