Oregon Ducks Freshman Troy Brown Jr. declared for the NBA Draft on Tuesday afternoon.
Troy Brown Jr. made an impact for the Ducks during the 2017-18 season as a key Starter for a team that had trouble finding consistency when they needed it most.
Despite the struggles, Brown averaged 11 points and 3 assists per game this season for Oregon. He also led the team with 55 steals. The Five-Star talent showed early that he had a solid skill set showing off all facets of his game in the non-conference slate.
Brown’s three-point shooting prowess shined in November and December at Matthew Knight Arena. He struggled on the road through a good part of the Pac-12 season. In losses to Arizona and Stanford in particular, he struggled. Against the Wildcats he was 0 for 3 from beyond the arc and finished the game with just 4 points in 32 minutes on the floor.
His statistics at home were much better. Brown helped lead the way against Washington with 21 points off 8 for 12 shooting. He had 16 against Washington State in back to back Pac-12 wins.
