The Oregon Ducks(16-11, 3-6 Pac-12) host Washington State(8-15, 3-6 Pac-12) for three games this weekend.

There were some positives last weekend in the series against the Stanford Cardinal on the road. Despite a 2-2 road trip overall, with a win vs San Francisco, the Ducks Starting Pitching Staff had an Earned Run Average under 2. The Oregon Offense struggled in key moments and Oregon has left 27 runners on base in the last two games.

The Oregon Ducks return to Pac-12 play at PK Park this weekend and welcome the Washington State Cougars to what will be a rainy Eugene. Game times have been shuffled and may be shuffled again as the weather will be a factor for the three-game weekend series with the Cougars.

Both WSU and Oregon are 3-6 in Pac-12 play entering Friday. The Cougars have won four of their last six games. Washington State is not the best hitting team in the Pac-12 batting .244 on the year. Opponents are hitting just above the .300 mark against them. Blake Clanton is the player to watch for Washington State.

Clanton has 19 hits on the season along with 10 walks. He is batting .311. On the mound, Scotty Sunitsch leads the two Starters on the roster with a 2-1 record and a 3.86 Earned Run Average.

With back to back wins the last two games, the Oregon Ducks Starters have a new look over the last few weeks. Matt Mercer will pitch the first game of the series with Kenyon Yovan and Colby Summers getting the ball in Games 2 and 3 respectively.
