The Tennessee Titans begin 2018 with a new head coach and will be tested early in the preseason.

Last season the Tennessee Titans and Marcus Mariota were tested in the Preseason by Carolina, Kansas City, Chicago and the New York Jets. The 2017 team made it to the second round of the NFL Playoffs after navigating through the regular season. Entering 2018 the task is a bit taller under new Head Coach Mike Vrabel.

Mariota and the Titans will begin their 2018 Preseason at Lambeau Field in Green Bay against Aaron Rodger and the Packers. While Tennessee is looking to regain ground with their fanbase that has started once again to pay attention, Green Bay continues to be one of the hottest tickets in the NFL with a waiting list for seats that is a mile long – something Tennessee is striving for.

While a win at Green Bay doesn’t count, it could open up the eyes of casual fans that this team is for real behind Marcus Mariota. The former Oregon QB has spent the offseason last year rehabbing a broken leg while also working out with teammates to prepare.

Tennessee will also host Tampa, visit Pittsburgh, and host the Minnesota Vikings during the Preseason slate. Each team has a unique storyline entering the season. Can Pittsburgh return to form? What will we see out of Tampa Bay? How big a test can Minnesota pose?

The final matchup against the Vikings may be the most intriguing. Both teams made the NFL Playoffs last season. The NFL Regular season will also bring adversity with New England, Philadelphia, and Washington all set to visit Nissan Stadium in 2018.
