Jordan Bell Finding His Role With Golden State

SAN ANTONIO,TX - NOVEMBER 2: Jordan Bell
SAN ANTONIO,TX - NOVEMBER 2: Jordan Bell

Former Oregon Duck Jordan Bell is carving out a place for himself with the Golden State Warriors.

In the first weeks of the NBA Season, it was clear that Jordan Bell would not be able to be contained. He had several eye-opening plays in games that astonished his teammates and in some cases caused coaches to frown – or smile depending on the sideline you were on.

Bell has a flair for the dramatic and it showed in his final season with the Oregon Ducks in 2016 as he helped lead Oregon to a Final Four.

Now, his team is in the NBA Playoffs and Bell has found a way to mesh with his teammates an even talk the same language. He is the lone rookie on the team and has been tasked kindly with lugging around large bags of such things as poker chips – a better alternative to hazing according to Bleacher Report.

Jordan Bell has a mature demeanor, which came through in a big way with the media when he played for the Oregon Ducks. Bell also has a fun side, that at times has had to be reeled in. One thing you don’t do in a blowout is a windmill 360 jam against the opposition or a bounce off the backboard to yourself for a slam dunk, but you live and learn.

The fast pace of the NBA Season can go right past some players, but Bell has been in the middle of it all year. On Saturday in the first game of the NBA Playoffs Bell saw limited time, but has 3 points in a win over the San Antonio Spurs.
