Oregon Ducks Starter Miranda Elish picked up her second win on the weekend vs the Stanford Cardinal on Sunday in a 4-1 win.
The Oregon Ducks Softball team fresh off a win over 2nd ranked Oklahoma welcomed the Stanford Cardinal for a three-game series at Jane Sanders Stadium. Miranda Elish picked up her 15th win of the season. DJ Sanders went 2 for 2 with two doubles and 3 RBI’s in an 8-4 win. The Ducks struggled Defensively with three errors. The Ducks made up for it hitting .409 for the game while holding Stanford to just over .200 from the plate.
The storyline was similar for Game 2 on Saturday. The Ducks cranked out 10 hits against Stanford in a 4-1 win. Mary Iakopo and Lauren Burke went a combined 4 for 5 to help Oregon. The Ducks hit .333 with runners in scoring position for a 4-1 win.
On Sunday, the series finale was in the hands of Miranda Elish, getting her second start of the weekend Elish had run support early with the Oregon Ducks picking up a run in the first inning. The Offensive Power continued in the bottom of the fourth. Shannon Rhodes claimed she was hit by a pitch, but the umpire disagreed. The next pitch she saw was a three-run home run over the left field fence to give Oregon a 4-1 lead.
It was all the Oregon Ducks would need. Elish finished the day with a complete game with one run and 10 strikeouts, her ninth double-digit strikeout game of the season.

The Oregon Ducks head to Washington next weekend to take on the Huskies in a series that could decide the Pac-12 Conference Title with three weeks remaining.
