Oregon Football may soon have another Graduate Transfer, the fourth to join the team for the upcoming 2018 season.

On Wednesday it was confirmed that Alabama Backup Offensive Lineman Dallas Warmack is leaving the Crimson Tide. The Redshirt Junior did not play during the 2017 National Championship season but did see time on the field as a Freshman and Sophomore. Dallas is the younger brother of Chance Warmack who was a first-round NFL Draft Selection. Both are scheduled to graduate this weekend.

Oregon is in consideration for Dallas Warmack. Mario Cristobal has a personal connection since he was the Offensive Line Coach at Alabama two seasons ago before coming to Oregon. Last season, Cristobal helped shape and Offensive Line that included NFL Draft pick Tyrell Crosby. Crosby did not allow a sack during the 2017 season and became one of the top Lineman in the Nation.

It is not known if Warmack was injured last season, or if he just fell on the depth chart and did not see the field. With the amount of talent that Nick Saban brings to Alabama, I would expect it could easily be the latter of the two. The Oregon Ducks have several open positions on the Offensive Line and a big one with the departure of Crosby.

Is the connection between Cristobal and Warmack strong enough to get him to Eugene? Someone with his experience could also help in the locker room. Warmack would be the fourth Graduate Transfer to come to Oregon in the last month. He would be eligible to play right away and be a key player for the Class of 2018 to help protect Quarterback Justin Herbert.
