Former Oregon Duck Kenjon Barner is looking for a new home and earlier this week met with the Buffalo Bills.

Barner spent the 2017 season with the Philadelphia Eagles primarily returning kickoffs and punts but did see limited time at Running Back during the 2017 Super Bowl run. Barner first signed with Philadelphia back in 2014, was with the team for two seasons before a brief stint with the San Diego Chargers.

The Buffalo Bills had Brandon Tate handle kickoff and punt return duties last season, but the team has not resigned Tate to a contract for the upcoming season. For Kenjon Barner, size has not limited his potential in his time in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He has shown strength in running north to south and has shown break-away ability in the kickoff return game once he gets a head of steam. Barner is better on the field when he is moving at his full capacity and can find the seam quickly and make the opposing team make mistakes when trying to bring him to the ground.

Despite his lack of size, his speed makes up for it. His experience at the College Level is also a key factor. While at the University of Oregon Barner led the team on the ground in his Senior Season.

If he does not find a home in Buffalo, Barner will likely find a role on a team looking for a kick returner. When he signed with Philadelphia in 2014 it is the area that he found success.
