Two future Oregon Ducks could be headed to the 2019 NBA Draft as the next round of ‘one and done’ players.

The Oregon Ducks have not been known as a ‘one and done’ destination until Troy Brown Jr this season. With the Ducks seeing commitments from bigger and better talent for 2019, the trend is expected to continue for several Freshman following the upcoming season.

According to Sports Illustrated, two Oregon Ducks Men’s Basketball players could be taken in the first round fo the 2019 NBA Draft. One player that comes to mind immediately is Bol Bol, son of Manute Bol. Bol has good size and can take the ball to the basket, as well a shoot from outside. is Freshman season with Oregon will tell a lot about how his future will develop.

Head Coach Dana Altman has said he doesn’t want to change what Bol Bol can do, but help him work on the skills to get better at the College and Professional Level.

The second name on the 2019 NBA Mock Draft from Sports Illustrated is Freshman Louis King. King is coming off a meniscus injury and has not seen much playing time in the Offseason circuit before coming to the University of Oregon. King is slotted 14th, one ahead of Bol Bol in the SI Mock Draft.

For Louis King, versatility is the word that best defines him. Last season, Troy Brown entered the season as a versatile player but Brown struggled early and was never able to find consistency in his individual game at Oregon. There were certainly flashes that showed he was a 5-Star player. Brown will have an opportunity in the NBA Combine to show off his versatility ahead of the NBA Draft next month.

Both King and Bol Bol come to Oregon with the opportunity to get into the Starting Lineup early in their careers. The Ducks have all the tools to make an NCAA Tournament run in 2019 which will further add to the experience for both players when they look to make the move to the next level.
