Last night, despite the loss to the Houston Rockets, former Oregon Duck Jordan Bell had a key part in a sequence that Oregon fans have seen before. He was part of a series of plays that included a blocked shot, change of possession and a score. Since the start of his first season in the NBA, Bell has had his moments to shine.

Bell has taken some of his moves from Oregon and made them into his highlight reel in the National Basketball Association. Earlier in the season, the off the backboard alley-oop comes to mind. On a more serious note, Bell has developed into a key player for Golden State with limited minutes on the floor during the regular season and now the postseason.

On Tuesday night, he was given the task of guarding one of the best in the game in James Harden. He saw a quick foul early in the game for a reach -in, but learned from the mistake. He ended the game with three fouls.

Golden State has a good problem with talented players, but there is not enough playing time especially in the NBA Playoffs. Andre Iguodala is the Starter, but is playing injured. However, Bell is third on the depth chart behind Kevon Looney, who had a slight defensive advantage and Nick Young, who has a slight Offensive Advantage over Bell.

Bell could absolutely be in the Starting Rotation for Golden State, but with the loss at home on Monday 95-92, may have to wait as the experienced players will work to get the Warriors out of a 2-2 series tie with Houston.

Jordan Bell played 8 minutes on Tuesday and was 2 for 3 from the field for 6 points. He had five rebounds, a steal and a block.
