Oregon Football could soon be receiving a visit from Baylor Commit Jaylen Ellis, who is looking for a place to land in the Class of 2019.

The Oregon Ducks have moved the Recruiting Needle over the last month. Head Coach Mario Cristobal has found four graduate-transfers that will be coming to help the team in 2018. All are in key positions of need entering the regular season in September. Oregon is also beginning to make noise with the 2019 Recruiting Class, currently ranked top in the Pac-12 Conference.

Current Baylor Commit, Wide Receiver Jaylen Ellis is narrowing his college options and according to ScoopDuck is considering a trip to Eugene to see how the culture has shifted and if it is something in the water, or a true feeling of family now surrounding the Oregon Football team.

Last season, Ellis helped his team make it to the State Semifinals bringing in 58 passes for over 1200 yards and 18 touchdowns. He recently picked up offers from Michigan and Oregon and could bolster a Wide Receiver group that is in need of a key player for the 2019 season and beyond.

Last season, Charles Nelson was the experienced Wide Receiver for Oregon Football. Entering 2018, Fall Camp will likely be the decider as to who earns the starting role, but the Ducks enter the season without a household name at the position.  If Ellis finds his way to Eugene he could be a household name for a long time.

Despite being a 3-Star Recruit according to Rivals, Ellis has elite speed and it is clear that teams around the country are starting to take notice. His play has been inconsistent which could be a big reason why it has taken longer for colleges to take notice. Finding consistency is part of coaching. Oregon knows this and I believe could have an advantage if he is considering making a move from his current commitment to Baylor.
