Dillon Brooks and Chris Boucher have been invited to try out for the Team Canada Roster.

Former Oregon Duck Dillon Brooks was a Starter for most of the season for the Memphis Grizzlies. Despite the team struggling, Brooks showed off his skill averaging 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist per game. On Monday, Brooks along with another former Oregon Duck Chris Boucher were invited to Team Canada’s Training Camp this summer.

The two were part of 18 players that were selected to try out for Canada’s Senior National Team.

Chris Boucher entered his first season in the NBA as an undrafted Free Agent. He signed with the Golden State Warriors and has spent most of the year rehabbing and getting better following surgery after his final season at Oregon. He has played one game with Golden State. For the Warriors D-League team, he was in 20 games with solid numbers putting up 11 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

The Senior National Team will play in exhibition games this summer in advance of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers that start in a month on June 29th.

For both Brooks and Boucher, the opportunity will give them a chance to work on their respective games and get better for next season. Boucher has shown his ability and talent in the D-League this season and could find a role with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA in the coming seasons joining Jordan Bell.
