Oregon Football Recruiting: Ducks Set To Host 2019 Wide Receiver
Oregon Football Recruiting is again heating u as we head into June with the team set to host Wide Receiver Kyle Ford this week.
Oregon Football will look to Transfer Tabari Hines to help lead a young group of Wide Receivers for the upcoming season with the departure of Charles Nelson. The Ducks are set to host a big target in 4-Star Wideout Kyle Ford in the coming week.
Wide Receiver has always been a key position for Oregon Football. Breakout plays have also been key, but the speed on the field over the last two seasons has limited the option of the breakaway somewhat. Last season Brendan Schooler moved from Defense to Wide Receiver and played well. For the 2019 season, Oregon is looking for a top talent who will likely see the field immediately.
According to his twitter account, Kyle Ford may be set for an Unofficial visit to Eugene on June 6th. 247 Sports lists Ford as the 6th best Wide Receiver in the country and the 32nd overall. Ford, like many other Oregon prospects, has participated in camps like The Opening and the Elite 11 Quarterback camps. At the Opening in March, 247 Sports spoke about Kyle Ford as a two-sport athlete who was focused on baseball at the time but still had a good day on the field.
Ford is also the 7th best in the State of California and the Oregon Ducks have a firm pipeline to the State for 2019 currently holding commits from 4th, 6th, and 8th best prospects in the Golden State. If he commits following his visit, Ford would be the fourth to follow Mase Fusa, Mykael Wright, and Jeremiah Cridell according to 247Sports.
Earlier this month, Ford lined up a visit to the Colorado Buffaloes.
