Heineman is currently with the Texas Rangers AAA team, the Round Rock Express and over the past two games he has helped lead the team to back to back wins. Saturday night, Heineman hit two home runs en route to an 18-7 win. Both home runs were two runs, accounting for four RBI’s on the night.

The former Oregon Duck also helped Round Rock to the most home runs in a game this season with five on Friday.

Scott Heineman has spent the last two seasons in the Texas Rangers AA system before moving to AAA earlier this year So far on the season he is hitting .288 with 62 hits and 39 runs to go with 10 doubles.

Sunday saw another big day for Heineman. He helped with his bat bringing in six of the team’s 10 runs for back to back wins over Las Vegas. He hit his third home run in two days and now owns a 13 game hitting streak as the team pushes into the heart of their season.

In the seventh inning, Heineman got into the act with his glove throwing out a runner from third base attempting to score to complete a double play and ending a Las Vegas scoring threat. In two days Heineman was accountable for three home runs and 10 RBI’s.
