If Oregon Football Quarterback Justin Herbert can have a healthy season, he could be the talk of the 2019 NFL Draft.

According to NFL Scouts, there is a lot to like about Oregon Football Junior Quarterback Justin Herbert. In two seasons with the Ducks, Herbert has created his own shadow after coming from behind the shadow of Marcus Mariota who is now with the Tennessee Titans. While Mariota had to work his skill into becoming a Professional Quarterback, it is clear that Herbert has some of those key qualities entering this season.

Daniel Jeremiah from NFL.com is impressed with the Oregon Quarterback. He was the first Freshman Quarterback to start since 1983 and his first game was one that many Oregon fans wish they could forget against the Washington Huskies. Over the last two seasons, Herbert has become a bonafide Starter and has shown off big time talent with his arm, and at times with his legs.

Arm strength is a key for Justin Herbert and should show even more improvement in 2018. According to Jeremiah, Herbert needs to work on his decision making and with an Offensive Line built for success and physicality entering the season, he should have time to improve his NFL Draft stock even further.

Herbert spent five games last season injured after breaking his collarbone, but before he went down he had Oregon Football off to an important start at 6-1 just on the edge of the National Spotlight. With early success in 2018, the Oregon Ducks could again find themselves as a contender in the Pac-12 Conference in an always competitive Pac-12 North with Stanford and Washington.

Oregon Football will also have several big games at Autzen Stadium this season welcoming back former Head Coach Chip Kelly now with UCLA and also handing the Defense of the Stanford Cardinal. The game against the Cardinal will be the one to watch to see how Herbert responds after what should be a good start in the non-conference in what appears to be some easier competition.
