The 2018 College Football Season is just about a month away on Wednesday the Pac-12 Media made their picks.

There were not much in the way of surprises. Several teams are looking to reload at key positions for the upcoming season, with Oregon Football among them. The Washington Huskies were tabbed as the favorite in the North while the USC Trojans the favorite in the South for the upcoming season. While Oregon finished third in the North Division, right behind Stanford, the Ducks have home-field advantage on their side.

Oregon Football hosts both Stanford and Washington at Autzen Stadium this season. I expect that Quarterback Justin Herbert is looking for a better performance than the last time he faced the Huskies at home two seasons ago with Mark Helfrich as Head Coach. Now, Mario Cristobal has helped Oregon to one of the top recruiting Classes for 2018 and Oregon has help at Wide Receiver with Tabari Hines already in the fold.

The Ducks need to be aware of the trap game early, but games against Bowling Green and Portland State should be easy. The biggest challenge with Washington is in the first week of the season against Auburn. The loser of the game likely will have to win outright to have a chance to get back into the mix for the National Championship and the College Football Playoff.

In the Pac-12 South Division, USC is the favorite. Utah and Arizona are close behind in the battle for the South. Chip Kelly and the UCLA Bruins rank fourth behind the Arizona Wildcats. When it comes to predictions, the Media have been right only three of the last ten polls.
