Oregon Football, as all lovers of college football know, is hosting the seventh-ranked Stanford Cardinal this weekend.

Of course, this event will also be the featured ‘College Gameday’ matchup, meaning that Kirk Herbstreit, Reece Davis, Lee Corso and the rest of ESPN’s crew will make the trip to Eugene for the big game.

Oregon is no stranger to the spotlight that ‘College Gameday’ casts when coming to town. In fact, as of two days from now, Oregon will have hosted the event the seventh most times (10) since its founding in 1993; only behind CFB powerhouses Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Michigan and LSU. And in those 9 other games, how have the Ducks fared? Here’s each and every ‘College Gameday’ Oregon Football has hosted:

September 23rd, 2000: (6) UCLA 10, Oregon 29

18 years ago from Sunday, an unranked Oregon team beat the brakes off sixth-ranked UCLA to show folks that the Ducks had arrived.

September 29th, 2007: (6) California 31, (11) Oregon 24

After a seven-year hiatus, Gameday finally made a return trip to Eugene as two of the Pac-12’s highest-rated teams squared off. This one didn’t go the Ducks’ way as the Golden Bears escaped with a touchdown victory.

November 3rd, 2007: (6) Arizona State 23, (4) Oregon 35

Despite their previous loss to California, Oregon was able to climb up to number 4 in the polls when Arizona State rolled into town ranked — you’ll never guess — sixth in the nation. In the second of two Gameday matchups, Oregon took home the victory. Man, the Pac-12 was loaded back in 2007.

Halloween, 2009: (4) USC 20, (10) Oregon 47

Finally, Oregon was able to host Gameday without playing the 6th ranked team in the country; and the Ducks obliterated USC, besting them by a remarkable 27 points.

October 2nd, 2010: (9) Stanford 31, (4) Oregon 52

Oregon Football, once again, absolutely killed it on the biggest stage regular season college football has to offer, blowing out another top 10 team. The victim? The same one as this Saturday: Stanford Cardinal. Let’s hope similar things transpire during this year’s edition.

October 15th, 2011: (18) Arizona State 27, (9) Oregon 41

Another ‘College Gameday,’ another big win. Oregon has to have the highest average scoring output in the history of Gameday, right? We’ll revisit this later.

November 17th, 2012: (14) Stanford 17, (1) Oregon 14

Just the second loss in seven times hosting in this one. However, this game put a hole in the hearts of fans that took quite a while to recover from. Oregon was on track to play for the national title for the second time in three years, but Stanford ruined it and knocked the Ducks off the #1 throne.

October 26th, 2013: (12) UCLA 14, (2) Oregon 42

Jesus, another blowout. This time by 30 points! I know one thing for darn sure: UCLA should never want another ‘College Gameday’ matchup with Oregon because the Bruins have gotten beat by 19 and 30 points each time.

September 6th, 2014: (7) Michigan State 27, (3) Oregon 46

Whaddya know? Another massive victory for the Oregon Football Program. This win over Michigan State was an early part of a trail that led all the way to the title game, where Oregon finished runner-ups to Ohio State.

September 22nd, (7) Stanford @ (20) Oregon

Lets. Go. Beat. The. Cardinal.

There you have it, the results of every Oregon Football Gameday contest. In these previous games, Oregon has an astounding record of 7-2, with an average margin of victory of 20 points in their wins. That’s crazy talk. Oregon has to be there highest scoring Gameday host ever, right? 35.1 points a game? That’s pretty darn high.

Let’s hope the trend continues this week and Oregon knocks the socks off rival Stanford. Tune in to watch the battle of the Christmas colors this Saturday at 8PM ET, 5PM PT on ABC.
