While Oregon Football has seen games early and late in the day over the last few seasons, the game against Washington on September 13th will be the first 12:30 pm PT game in Autzen Stadium in several seasons.

Oregon Football enters the game with a 1-1 Pac-12 Conference mark and 4-1 overall after taking care of business last weekend on the road against the California Golden Bears. Quarterback Justin Herbert has been impressive this season and has kept Oregon Football on the positive side of the scoreboard. Against Cal, he helped the team put up 42 points with an efficiency rating close to that of Marcus Mariota in his Heisman Trophy-winning year.

While the hype surrounding Oregon Football was a highlight when the Ducks took on Stanford two weeks ago, losing 38-31 in Overtime, other teams have stepped up to take the focus away from the Pac-12 Conference. This week, the Ducks have a bye week and the Stanford Cardinal saw the spotlight dim a bit after their loss to Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish are now square in the middle of the potential College Football Playoff conversation.

The Washington Huskies have gotten the better of Oregon over the last few seasons. Two years ago, it was Justin Herbert’s first start at Quarterback that was a disaster for the Ducks and then Head Coach Mark Helfrich. Last season, the Ducks lost on the road. This season, Oregon Football has the game back at Autzen Stadium with a more mature and accurate Justin Herbert at the helm.

Oregon Football has had early start times and some later this season including the Pac-12 11 am start that rotates every three seasons between schools. The Ducks latest start this season was 5pm. Oregon and Washington will kickoff at 12:30pm Pacific Time and be broadcast on one of the ESPN Family of Networks(ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2). The network will be announced following the games this week.

The Ducks enter a much needed bye week, giving a chance to heal up entering their clash with the Washington Huskies next week.
