The Oregon Ducks found a way to beat Buffalo Sunday afternoon without Sabrina Ionescu having her best game.

Ionescu had 12 points in the game, and shot just one bucket from the field. She missed on six shots and made a three-pointer and had 7 turnovers. She played well enough from the free throw line to finish 9 for 10 and despite a rough night on the floor still came away with a triple-double with 10 assists and 10 rebounds. She was able to find open teammates to get them the ball all afternoon and the usual dangerous shooter showed a different element of her game.

All five Oregon Starters scored in double figures led by Ruthy Hebard with 25 points. She was8 for 9 from the floor and 9 for 10 from the free throw line. Oregon still shot 55 percent from the floor in the 40 point win over Buffalo. The Ducks hit the 100 point mark for the first time this season with the 102-82 win.

While Ionescu and Hebard are still the primary names on the Oregon Women’s Basketball team others are making names for themselves. Satou Sabally and Transfer Erin Boley had important points. Boley was 5 for 8 from three-point range.

For Sabrina Ionescu it was her third game of a double double or better this season. It was the 12th career triple double of her career.

Morgan Yaeger, who at the start of the season had not played for close to two years due to injuries is starting to see more minutes. She was limited to 9 against Buffalo and was 2 for 3 from the floor netting 5 points. Yaegar could be an essential player off the bench for Kelly Graves this season as she works her way back and builds chemistry with her teammates.
