Primarily what sets these few mediocrities apart from the further down depression is 1.) They have just 4 losses compared to 5 or more, and 2.) Each has one non-cupcake win (Iowa St., WKU, and Syracuse).  Look, nobody besides Arizona State is even worth arguing about at this point in the season, but hey I’ve gotta put words on the record, so yeah, take that for some data.
