If there is one thing that Oregon Women’s Basketball Head Coach Kelly Graves knows, it is his teams’ weakness and one key was filled with Minyon Moore.

While the Class of 2020 is loaded with 5-Star talent, Oregon lost a key player in Maite Cazorla. Cazorla played a big role on Defense and also redefined the pick and roll during her time at Oregon, helping carry the Ducks into the postseason during her time with Oregon Women’s Basketball.

Minyon Moore comes to Eugene from USC and will stay in the Pac-12 Conference. She is a Graduate Transfer and will be eligible for the upcoming season. She joins Sabrina Ionescu, who is returning for her Senior season along with Erin Boley, and Satou Sabally as likely member of the starting lineup next season.

Expectations are also going to be high for a program that reached the Final Four last season.

Moore averaged over 15 points per game to go along with 6 assists and over 5 rebounds per game. Her play last season earned her Pac-12 Defensive Honors and she will be expected to play an important role for Oregon Women’s Basketball in 2019-2020.

Since Kelly Graves stepped into Mathew Knight Arena, the Women’s Basketball Program has reset the bar each season. As the talent and team have improved, last season saw the team not only host the first two rounds of the Women’s NCAA Tournament but also play in the Regional Round in Portland, a stone’s throw from Eugene.

Nationally, everyone has taken notice of the program that Graves has built and with the addition of Moore, expectations next season will be high. When Sabrina Ionescu announced her return, she talked about unfinished business. Moore may help them to complete it.
