Oregon Football starts the week ranked 13th following a win on the road at Stanford and a bye week to get healthy.

The Auburn Tigers are getting the better end of beating the Ducks, ranked 7th this week in the Associated Press poll.

Oregon hosts Cal in their Pac-12 home opener this week at Autzen Stadium. Two weeks ago, six Pac-12 teams were ranked in the Associated Press Top 25. With California falling at home to Arizona State, the Golden Bears have fallen just out of the AP Top 25 to 26th. They were also the last undefeated team to lose in the Pac-12 as the Conference is looking to cling to a chance at a College Football Playoff spot.

It is the first time since 2004 that the Pac-12 Conference does not have an undefeated team in the AP Poll entering the second month of the season. The Conference is tough this year with teams just starting to beat each other up and likely out.

The Conference of Champions has just three teams in the AP Poll this week, led by the Ducks at 13 along with Utah and Arizona State. Cal likely would have moved ahead of Oregon with a win over the Sundevils last weekend, but the loss not only knocked them from being ranked. The Golden Bears also lost their Starting Quarterback Chase Garbers for a long stretch moving forward with what is being described as an upper-body injury.

Cal still has one of the better defenses in the Pac-12 and it will be tested by a well-rested and reloaded Oregon Football offense this weekend. The Ducks will likely return several Wide Receivers that have been out due to injury including Juwan Johnson, Brendan Schooler, and Mycah Pittman.

Oregon and Cal meet on Saturday at 5 pm inside Autzen Stadium. The game will be televised by FOX.
