Oregon Football has played the first month of the season without all of their talent at Wide Receiver and have experience returning this weekend vs Cal.

Despite not being 100 percent, Quarterback Justin Herbert has been able to make the Ducks offense go by using Tight End Jacob Breeland as well as his wide receivers. Entering this week we will see at least two top targets returning to the field for Oregon. Both Mycah Pittman and Brendan Schooler have been cleared to return to the field against one of the top defenses in the country in California.

While to Golden Bears lost last week to the hand of Arizona State in Berkeley, the strength of Cal is their defense as well as Justin Wilcox, the head coach who is leading it. Offensively without Chase Garbers, who will be out for this week and likely all season, the Golden Bears may have to find some power in their running game on Saturday. Oregon, with several key players returning at the wideout position, could find some wrinkles to success.

Oregon could also see Transfer Juwan Johnson on the field, but he is more day to day with a lingering injury. Johnson is the player who has height on his side against a talented Golden Bears Secondary.

On Wednesday, Oregon made it official as Devon Williams started classes and was officially added to the Oregon Football roster. Head Coach Mario Cristobal welcomed him with open arms and said he is already fitting in with the team. Williams will not see the field this season and will be required to sit out the remainder of 2019 as part of the transfer rule. He will be working with Quarterback Tyler Shough in practice since it is likely he will lead the team into the 2020 season.

Oregon Football comes off a bye week and welcomes the California Golden Bears to Autzen Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 5 pm Pacific Time on FOX.
