Game Week for Oregon Football has finally arrived and there are still some questions heading into the matchup vs Stanford on Saturday.

On Monday morning, Mario Cristobal released his game-week depth chart, which most of us now as the organizational chart. It usually breaks down the two and three deep positions on offense and defense for the game that week. Monday was a good day for Oregon fans as the first of what should be seven organizational charts became available.

The Stanford Cardinal visit the 12th ranked Oregon Football team on Saturday. The game will be broadcast nationally on ABC as the Pac-12 Conference joins other conferences in this weird 2020 season of college football. The Ducks will look to defend their Pac-12 crown as well as their Rose Bowl win from last season, but with some new faces.

While Quarterback Tyler Shough has earned his place as the Starter, which was assumed early in fall camp is now in question. Of course, it is somewhat a custom that a team not want to tip their hand to their opponent, a remark made by Head Coach Mario Cristobal on Monday. The Organizational Chart reads Shough or Anthony Brown at Quarterback.

The rest of the offense is more streamlined with CJ Verdell the starter at Running Back. Wide Receivers include Mycah Pittman, Jaylon Redd, and Johnny Johnson III. Hunter Campmoyer or Cam McCormick will start at Tight End. McCormick has had a long road back after some injuries last year, but he practiced during fall camp and is ready to go.

The Offensive Line will have all new faces as five new starters will look to protect either Tyler Shough and/or Anthony Brown.

On the defensive side Kayvon Thibodeaux anchors the Defensive line along with Jordon Scott and Austin Faoliu. Mykael Wright and Deommodore Lenoir will be the cornerbacks. With the loss of Brady Breeze, the Ducks will use Nick Pickett in the Safety position. Transfer Jordan Happle, and Verone McKinley will also see the field.

Special Teams which has played a key role in games vs Stanford in the past also has new faces. Cristobal has said these guys have worked hard and all were close to perfect in practice this week. Camden Lewis will handle kickoffs and field goals. Tom Snee will punt.

Kickoff returns and Punt Returns will be handled by committee for the opener with a lot of ‘or’s’ listed. This includes Travis Dye, Mykah Pittman, Kris Hutson or Josh Delgado.

One thing is for sure, it will be nice to see Oregon Football on the field. The Ducks host the Stanford Cardinal Saturday at 4:30 pm Pacific Time on ABC.
