Oregon basketball is getting another shot at Oregon State in the semifinal of the Pac-12 Tournament. Will the Ducks beat their rival for a second time?

In a battle of in-state rivals, a spot in the Pac-12 title game is at stake. Oregon is red-hot, winning six straight games and 11 of the last 12 while coming off a convincing quarterfinal win over Arizona State while the Beavers are also playing surprisingly well as winners of 4-of-5.

The Ducks are fresh off a regular season title, their second straight and Dana Altman’s fourth, and they’re looking for their fourth Pac-12 tournament title under the veteran coach.

Oregon State, once a pushover in the Pac-12, isn’t going to just roll over here as they’re coming off a huge overtime with over UCLA and are hungry for another upset, but the Ducks have the firepower to hold the Beavers off.

Will Oregon win a second straight over Oregon State?

3. Oregon shoots over 50 percent from 3-point range again

In case you haven’t noticed by now, Oregon is one of the hottest shooting teams in the country. The Ducks rank in the top-50 in field goal percentage and have been scorching the nets from 3-point range over the past few games.

In fact, Oregon just hit 10-of-18 threes against Arizona State and the game before that against these Beavers, the Ducks were an unreal 15-for-23. That’s just ridiculous.

Oregon State is going to be the recipient of another 3-point barrage as the Ducks make it rain early and often with guys like Eugene Omoruyi, Chris Duarte, LG Figueroa, Will Richardson and Eric Williams Jr. getting hot from deep early and putting it on the Beavers.

Oregon will finish with at least 10 3-pointers for a third straight game and shoot over 50 percent from deep for a third consecutive contest as well.
