1. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

According to Joe Lunardi’s latest bracket projection, the Ducks would be the No. 7 seed in ‘Region 2’ getting matched up with a red-hot Georgia Tech team.

Head coach Josh Pastner has done a heck of a job with the Yellow Jackets this season and they have finished with their best record and highest standing in the ACC since he took over. They’re also headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since he took over as head coach.

The Yellow Jackets could see their seed improve here with an ACC Tournament title on Saturday night over Florida State but right now, a 10 seed seems about right. There’s a decent chance the Yellow Jackets could pull off the upset over the Seminoles which would likely move them to the 8/9 seed line.

Georgia Tech started the season 9-8 before going on a seven-game winning streak with wins over the likes of Duke, Syracuse and Virginia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are one of the hottest teams in the country so this might not be the most welcomed matchup for Oregon.

They have a good offense and, just like Oregon, they are awful on the glass. So maybe not the worst scenario, after all.
