Oregon basketball earned a No. 7 seed in the 2021 NCAA Tournament with a matchup against VCU. What time will the Ducks’ game be on Saturday?

Selection Sunday made an appearance for the first time in two years after it was cancelled following last season due to COVID-19’s early spread and Oregon fans have mixed feelings about getting a No. 7 seed after the season the Ducks just had.

The Ducks got the No. 7 seed in the West Region, earning a matchup with VCU who finished the 2020-21 regular season and Atlantic 10 Tournament with a 19-7 record.

Not the most ideal matchup for the Ducks given the fact that VCU has been scary-good at times this season, but the Ducks have shown they can play with and beat anyone. They finished the year 20-6 and were bounced in the semifinal of the Pac-12 Tournament against Oregon State after winning the regular season conference title.

The tip-off time and TV schedule was not announced during the Selection Show on CBS because the committee was still figuring all of that out but the times and channels were revealed later on Sunday night.

Oregon will get the last game of the night on Saturday which is a 9:57 p.m. local tip and 6:57 p.m. PST. The game will be played on TNT as well. If the Ducks win, the second round matchup would be on Monday any time after noon ET and 9 a.m. PST.

How far do you believe the Ducks will go in this year’s NCAA Tournament? The ceiling seems to be an Elite Eight or Final Four run while there’s a chance they could be bounced on the first weekend. Let’s hope it’s the former.
