1. Oregon pulls off the massive upset

There’s a good chance Iowa is the best team Oregon has faced all season, but the Ducks have shown throughout the year that they can beat anyone when they’re on their game.

Oregon can get hot from deep and just bury teams like they did against Oregon State in the season finale, going 15-for-23 from long-range. But they can also get ice-cold and fall apart like they did against Oregon State in the Pac-12 tourney. Those are two extremes.

The Ducks are going to shoot the ball very well against a defense that has been known to struggle this season against competent offenses and Chris Duarte will have the game of his career.

Luka Garza is going to get his points and rebounds for Iowa, but as long as the Ducks double him in the post or make him uncomfortable, he has a tendency to force things.

Dana Altman has had some extra time to scout and prepare for Iowa and you’ll see that preparation pay off on Monday morning as the Ducks pull off the big upset, sending Iowa home way earlier than expected.
