Mycah Pittman comes from an athletic family as his brother is a current NFL receiver for the Indianapolis Colts and his father was a running back in the league over a decade ago as well.

Now it’s Mycah’s turn to make a push for the NFL.

His brother played at USC so he’s familiar with the Pac-12 and he has a pretty solid resource to utilize in terms of how to be successful in this conference.

Pittman is entering his third season with the Ducks and he’s shown flashes of brilliance, but he hasn’t quite had that breakout year yet. We will see him rise to the top of the depth chart this spring as he leads a talented receiving corps. He was just sixth on the team in receiving a year ago with eight catches for 123 yards, but that followed up a solid freshman season when he had 18 catches for 227 yards and two scores.

We have barely seen Pittman scratch the surface and the breakout season seems as if it’s inevitable and that’s going to start with a big spring to prove he’s the No. 1 receiver.

A combination of him and Devon Williams, another breakout candidate of mine, will be deadly.
