Anyone who tells you that Oregon doesn’t have enough talent returning and coming in for the 2021 season to compete for a national title just hasn’t done the research.

Oregon should be one of the top 10-15 teams in college football to start the 2021 season, if not even higher than 10. The Ducks bring back a ton of talent while also reeling in the No. 6 recruiting class in 2021. Combine these two and you have one of the most talented rosters in the nation.

We hear all about Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson and Oklahoma being the best teams in the country with the most loaded rosters, but maybe we should be talking about Oregon.

Don’t believe me? Just look at this incredible stat:

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Oregon will field 11 of its top 30 recruits of all time which is mind-blowing considering how well Chip Kelly recruited during his time in Eugene.

Oregon football’s 2021 talent pool is incredible

The talent on the 2021 team is unreal.

Kayvon Thibodeaux could be the top Heisman contender on the defensive side of the ball for next season, Justin Flowe was hurt last season but he was an elite linebacker recruit in the 2020 class and Noah Sewell is already a breakout star at linebacker. And that’s just three guys.

Dontae Manning could be in for a huge season at cornerback after playing minimally due to being dinged up in 2020. He could start on the opposite side of Mykael Wright so the Ducks could have the No. 12 and No. 17 all-time recruits starting at the two cornerback spots.

An intriguing player to watch is Ty Thompson who’s No. 16 all-time and could push Anthony Brown for that starting quarterback job as a true freshman.

Will the 2021 team be Oregon’s best ever? That remains to be seen but it’ll probably be the most talented.
