If you’re like me, you’re disappointed that the 2021 Oregon football spring game will be played without fans. Everyone was excited to finally see an Oregon game with fans in attendance and hear the crowd cheer on touchdowns, big hits, and exciting plays.

But I digress.

The pandemic is still here and that means we have to be safe until we’re in the clear, so it makes sense, but the pain of not being able to attend the spring game for a second straight season probably haunts some fans and hurts some players who were looking forward to the atmosphere as well.

Oregon fans will still have an opportunity to watch the action regardless of whether it’s in person or not and that’s just fine. Football will be in action this weekend and that’s all some of us can really ask for. We will get our first glimpse at the 2021 version of the Ducks.

Will Oregon be improved from last season’s team which finished 4-3 with a Pac-12 title but lost in the Fiesta Bowl to Iowa State? More than likely, but we will see Saturday for sure.

Some positions are still up for grabs and whoever wins those battles could dictate the type of success the Ducks see in 2021. Which position battles should we keep our eyes on during the annual spring game on Saturday?
