Receivers/Tight Ends

Starting receivers: Mycah Pittman, Devon Williams, Jaylon Redd
Backups: Johnny Johnson, Kris Hutson, Troy Franklin OR Dont’e Thornton

Despite having a poor spring game, Mycah Pittman will be back as a potential WR1 for the Ducks after a couple of decent seasons to start his Oregon career. He had eight catches for 123 yards in four games last season and figures to have a massive role as the go-to guy in 2021.

I’m picking Devon Williams as the “surprise” starter in the receiving corps after he led the team a season ago with 15 catches for 286 yards and two touchdowns. Jaylon Redd was second on the team in receiving last season and he should start yet again.

Johnny Johnson could also find his way into the starting lineup but he’ll add some depth regardless. Troy Franklin and Dont’e Thornton had huge springs as freshmen and worked their way into the two-deep along with Kris Hutson and Josh Delgado may also be in the regular rotation.

The receiving corps is loaded.

Starting tight ends: Spencer Webb
Backup: Patrick Herbert/Terrance Ferguson/DJ Johnson

Spencer Webb and Patrick Herbert are back and looking healthy and both might be pushing for that starting tight end job along with DJ Johnson but he missed the spring game. My darkhorse contender for the starting job is freshman Terrance Ferguson.
