Spring ball is in the books and it looks like Oregon football has a good idea of what the roster is going to look like this fall.

The Ducks haven’t quite been stricken with transfers like a lot of other programs, but they could still add some talent from the portal to make sure they’re in that playoff conversation in 2021.

Who could the Ducks be targeting in the transfer portal after spring ball?

Shadrach Banks was one of the best receivers in the 2021 recruiting class and after enrolling at Texas A&M in January, he hit the transfer portal following spring ball.

The Houston, Texas, native looked like he was all in with the Aggies but his departure from the program opens the door for a team like Texas A&M looking to maybe add another elite piece to that receiving corps.

Devon Williams, Mycah Pittman, Jaylon Redd, Johnny Johnson, Dont’e Thornton, Josh Delgado, Kris Hutson, Troy Franklin, and Isaah Crocker make up quite the unit, but Banks would instantly become one of the top dogs.

Why did he leave A&M? It could be potential playing time so Mario Cristobal could sell him on “joining a group of inexperienced receivers” but there’s no guaranteed playing time in Eugene.

It wouldn’t hurt for Cristobal to reach back out to him after recruiting him a year ago.
