This has to be the most obvious choice for No. 1 breakout candidate there ever was and it’s because Justin Flowe is just oozing with talent and potential.

Injuries cut his freshman year short as he wasn’t able to showcase that talent nor his potential and he watched as Noah Sewell broke out. He had to have felt like he and Sewell could have risen the depth chart at the same time but now that he’s healthy after a strong spring, he could be in for a serious breakout — as he should be.

Flowe looked solid in the spring scrimmage and coaches raved about him for over a month as he got back to the normal speed of things.

If he can stay healthy in 2021, the former five-star linebacker and second-year player will be a problem for opposing offenses. Add him to a linebacking unit of Mase Funa, Sewell, Isaac Slade-Matautia, and Adrian Jackson and you have an elite group.

Heck, don’t be surprised when Flowe wrestles a starting job away from one of those guys.
