Oregon football now knows when they will play a quarter of their schedule. Three more game times were announced on Thursday including the opener against Fresno State.

The Pac-12 Network will open the college football season with Oregon in Eugene as the Ducks host the Bulldogs. Game time will be early at 11 a.m. local time. The rotation for the 11 a.m. slot rotates roughly every two seasons and the Ducks were due to have the early slot.

The Ducks already know they’ll face Ohio State the following week at 9 a.m. PST in Columbus, Ohio, the back end of a home-and-home agreed upon back in 2012. The first game was canceled last season due to COVID-19. The Ducks and Buckeyes have reset for another home-and-home starting in the 2032 season which was announced earlier this month.

Oregon returns home for a couple of games starting with Stony Brook. The Ducks will host the Seawolves on Sept. 18 for a 4:30 p.m. PST kickoff again on the Pac-12 Network.

Conference play taking shape for Oregon football

The Pac-12 slate is also starting to take shape. The Ducks have an early Pac-12 matchup visiting Stanford on Oct. 2. I expect this game time will be announced at a later date. The Ducks open Pac-12 play hosting Arizona on Sept. 25.

The conference also announced the game time for the Ducks’ visit to California on Friday, Oct. 15. As it has been in past seasons, Friday games are usually selected by ESPN, which is the same this go-around. The Ducks and Bears meet at 7:30 p.m. PST for some #Pac12AfterDark.

In 2021, the Ducks face Stanford, UCLA, and Washington on the road. I expect these contests will be announced with six or 12-day announcements on TV network and game time as the season goes along.

Oregon also will host Oregon State at Autzen Stadium to close out the regular season.
