One of the best receivers in the 2022 class just hit the market again after being committed to Texas A&M for three months and Oregon football is making a push.

Four-star wide out Isaiah Sategna decommitted from Texas A&M on June 17 after taking an official visit to College Station on June 4 which is a bit puzzling, but he decided to take a trip to Eugene to check out the Ducks shortly after taking his official visit to USC.

Sategna admitted that his interest in Oregon played a factor in his decommitment from Texas A&M and he was in Eugene on June 19, raving about the facilities for a couple of sports.

The four-star receiver is also one of the top track stars in the nation and he was impressed with the track and field facilities as well as what the football program had to offer. He plans on playing both sports at the collegiate level and you can’t go wrong with Oregon in either one.

After the visit and the rave reviews Sategna had for Oregon, Arkansas insider Danny West put in a crystal ball for the talented wide out to the Ducks. This is especially big because Sategna is one of Arkansas’ top targets in the 2022 class and he’s from Fayetteville, Ark. — his dad is also an assistant track and field coach for the Razorbacks.

Sategna is 247Sports‘ No. 189 overall recruit in the 2022 class and 29th-best receiver and he’s looking more like a Duck each day since the visit to Eugene.

Oregon football has been killing it with official visits

Mario Cristobal has done a fantastic job with official visits thus far this month and he seems to have picked up right where he left off last spring when the dead period hit.

Oregon recently hosted the 2021 class’ No. 1 recruit, JT Tuimoloau, and the Ducks seem to have a handful of elite prospects on campus every weekend, raving about the visit and the state of the program. The 2022 class is off to a somewhat slow start, but expect things to pick up soon.

Cristobal is flexing his recruiting muscle.
