I can tell you right now, Oregon has this game circled on the calendar. While Washington may be that “big” rival that every Duck fan looks forward to beating every year, Oregon State is that in-state brother that you just love to hate. In 2020, that hate became very real when the Beavers upset Oregon which nearly cost the Ducks a spot in the Pac-12 title game.

Oregon State hosted Oregon, beating the Ducks 41-38 in shocking fashion before losing three straight to end the season. It was a very Oregon State move to shock Oregon and then lose out.

The Ducks haven’t forgotten that miserable loss and you can bet they’re going to try and pile it on the Beavers this season.

Hosting Oregon State, Oregon is going to have all the advantages here and the talent gap is pretty clear. The Ducks just need to get out to a quick start and never look back. Making sure the Beavers are fighting to just stay in the game will be key but Oregon can’t let up.

I can see this game getting pretty ugly because the Ducks hate losing to the Beavers and last year was unacceptable.
