If I’m Mario Cristobal, the most ideal addition to the 2022 class remaining on the big board has to be four-star defensive end Cyrus Moss from Las Vegas. He’s the No. 56 recruit in the class as well as the sixth-best edge rusher, according to the composite.

But 247Sports is even higher on him, ranking him the No. 25 overall recruit in their recently updated Top247 and the No. 4 edge rusher.

Oregon has been the favorite here for a little bit and that doesn’t look to be changing soon. He is hoping to have the same type of role as Kayvon Thibodeaux if and when he does become a Duck and there’s a good chance that happens with the All-American defensive end likely to be selected in the top-five of the NFL draft after this season.

Moss is a 6-6, 220-pound athletic freak of a defensive end who runs a 4.6 40-yard dash and who Blair Angulo of 247Sports compares to Anthony Barr of the Vikings.

It looks like Oregon will land Moss and that will be a huge addition when it does happen.
