I’m a big believer that UCLA will be a contender this season, led by Dorian Thompson-Robinson. The Bruins have nine starters back on offense and the defense is going to be lightyears better than their 69th ranking a season ago.

Chip Kelly has something special building right now and he needs to with his job on the line.

Oregon fans want this win over Chip more than anything and I think we’ll see an instant classic taking place in Los Angeles on Oct. 23. The Ducks get the last laugh, though.

Final Score: Oregon 41, UCLA 34 (6-1, 4-0)

Karl Dorrell’s first season as Colorado’s coach was actually impressive as the Buffaloes started 4-0 with wins over UCLA and Stanford before losing to Utah and Texas to end the year.

The Ducks should have their way with Colorado here because I think that success last season was an anomaly and we’ll see the Buffaloes take a big step back in 2021. They have questions at quarterback and the defense was shaky in 2020, so don’t expect a Pac-12 contending-type season from Colorado in 2021.

Oregon should handle the Buffaloes here.

Final Score: Colorado 20, Oregon 42 (7-1, 5-0)
